HansonLA 2013 – Present
Mr. Jenny currently leads the design team through construction on CIRCA, the largest multi-family luxury residential apartment building in the city of Los Angeles and the surrounding area. As the Interior Architect he manages implementing the design of all interior spaces in these 36-story twin towers located near the Staples Center. He provides technical expertise including compiling data for architectural plans and specifications, and guidance for creating efficient layouts, drawings, and delivery schedules. He provides clear direction to a multi-faceted team ensuring design changes are addressed and deadlines are met accordingly.
For TEN50, a luxury residential high-rise on the MyFigueroa route, Mr. Jenny worked alongside Douglas Hanson, AIA, developing design ideas and design documents. Mr. Jenny was instrumental in managing the collaboration with the Executive Architect, Adamson & Associates, Inc., using tools like 3D digital modeling software to create and illustrate drawings to ensure the design intent was effectively communicated and implemented through the construction detailing process.
Cody Jenny managed the HansonLA team for Broadway @4th, a high-profile project located in the Historic Core of DTLA. This project, a 34-story luxury residential condominium and the tallest in the Historic Core, was the first designed under the strict new Broadway Design Guidelines. Because of these guidelines, the project was held to incredibly high standards as it became precedent for future construction in the District. Mr. Jenny was involved in the effort to liaise with City Council, City Planning, and historical consultants to successfully design and entitle the building in a short amount of time.
