The goal of every HansonLA project is to achieve the most appropriate design for the clients needs and budget. At HansonLA that process is a collaboration between the owner and the design team. Every design solution is discovered through research, drawings, photographs and models that we pursue in joint effort with the client.
Our design process begins with careful listening and continues with the production of the design sketches, 3d digital modeling and physical models. Providing the client with visualization tools makes the design process fully accessible and interactive.
As appropriate we are pleased to draw upon relationships with other design and construction professionals developed over more then 25 years of work experience. Our commitment to detailed organization and documentation is one of the hallmarks of HansonLA's professionalism and further insures our ability to deliver the right design to meet the clients budget and on schedule.
The firm is led by Douglas Hanson and Donna Moragne. Douglas Hanson has over two decades of experience working with some of the world's leading architectural firms. He has gained a broad depth and range of experience designing major projects in Asia, Europe and North America. Mr. Hanson is equally accomplished in all aspects of project development, from predesign and design work to construction and project management. His experience includes cultural, multidisciplinary collaborations, large-scale residential and mixed- use projects, as well as more modestly scaled commercial and retail projects. After graduating from RISDI Donna began her career at SOM. Donna brings over 20 years of residential and interior design experience to every project. With her art background Donna is uniquely qualified to develop custom colors, finishes and furnishings that compliment her design. Most recently Donna has designed and led construction administration of high profile projects in Los Angeles.
