Doug Hanson, FAIA, served as Project Architect for this 40,000 square meter modern art museum located in central Seoul, Korea. It is anchored by twelve uniquely shaped and sized galleries, meeting rooms, art handling and storage facilities, museum offices, a museum shop, restaurant, café, auditorium and parking. The building, which respects the neighboring historic shrines and palaces, generates a high rise museum.
